The Police and Crime Commissioner has approved a recommendation that Mr Daniel Worsley be appointed as an Independent Member of the Joint Audit Committee for a four year term from 28th November 2018; and Mr John Vince be appointed for a four year term from 30th July 2019 following David Rooke's retirement.

To approve proposal and engrossment of lease

The Police and Crime Commissioner has approved authority to attempt to settle a long running civil claim.

 

The PCC has approved a total funding contribution of £15,420.72 to March 2020 to Paws Protect.

 

A high percentage of abuse victims report their pets have been threatened, injured or killed by the perpetrator.  Victims have reported as not wanting to leave the abusive homes as they do not want to leave their pet.

 

Paws Protect removes the barrier victims face when trying to flee domestic abuse by providing a fostering service for the pet.
